No pool tables.... Made me throw away my drink 30 minutes after arriving ............. No one approached the table except to retrieve my personal drink- I'm a designated driver and wasn't going to buy anything either way.

And plus they have more that comes around like wrestling and comedy and whatnot and also The people are nice along with the bartenders and wait staff are freaking awesome love this place good good hangout to lay back relax and enjoy your drink and have some good food🤟🤟🤟🤟

Responsible staff and nice venue in the back for bands.energy is transferred really well in venues like this the mosh pits are underground quality very chaotic gets the adrenaline going nicely 👌

Im not sure that I would even give it one star. My sister and I walked in to have a drink and possibly an appetizer but to our dismay people were being allowed to smoke in a very unventilated and very unwelcomed area, the dining area. If food is being served ...smoking should not be allowed. We had to leave because my throat couldnt take the close proximity of the cigarette smoke. So a very bad experience.

Smoke filled restaurant. Couldn't enjoy my meal. You can't take your food out of the nasty smoke filled room. Service was decent as was the food. Drink specials are good. Much more a bar than a restaurant.

Love coming here to see local bands and rock concerts!

Good long island ice teas, generally bad music. Definitely get a breakfast burrito here if you're there early

Im really not happy with this place! Me and my boyfriend showed up here on friday, it was my birthday celebration and we were waiting on several more gusts. We showed up early and must have been waiting atleast 15 minutes watching the waitresses serve other tables! We even tried to wave one down, the place wasn't even busy mostly empty. A group of 4 walked in sat a couple tables away from us and the waitress who walked past us like 4 times once again walked past us to get to them to help them!!! One of our party guest showed up and it was then that we decided to leave almost 20 minutes at this place and no service at all, even when we tried multiple times to get their attention! We left contacted all our party guest and told them to meet us at Cujos. As soon as we got to Cujos we got served right away I got a free birthday shot!!! It was great love cujos and wont go back to jakes backroom!

Who don't love Jakes?!!?! The shows there are always cool andsome of your favorite bands from back in the day back in a small venue or up and coming bands. But we need s'more rockabilly shows there complete with ratrods🐀a stand up bass or 2 and of course pin•ups

Really friendly place, you can strike up a conversation with someone at the bar. I was working in Lubbock and was from out of town and the bartenders called me by first name after my second time coming in. Drinks are cheap and the food is great. They also have live music and a variety of different things to entertain you. All and all a fun friendly place to hang out!

Great place to watch the Cowboys. Mens room needs attention. It's filthy. Management needs to get off their Azz and get it cleaned up ASAP. My girlfriend says the ladies room is very clean. That's great. Clean the men's room Manager, clean the men's room

A great venue for some of the biggest names around! Jake's backroom host a variety of Comedians to Heavy Metal Bands and everything else in-between. Great atmosphere exceptional drinks and food not to mention the wait staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend catching a show at Jakes. I also have to recommend the food, the burgers are delicious and very filling.

Excellent place to unwind after working 4-7 12 hr. might shifts in a row. Shout out to Coco for being an excellent server. Ask for her.. first time our group got to have her as a server. We will ask for her every time from here on out.

Like that it's non-smoking in the backroom now. Sound has historically been pretty lousy but it seemed better at the last show I went to.

I always like Jake's! Always a good vibe & friendly service. The drinks can get expensive but that's the norm nowadays. Tiny drinks at a Big price! But "Element" and "A Touch Of Soul" are always great entertainment. I would definitely recommend Jakes!!!

In town and decided to drop in for some drinks. We had a great time. The atmosphere was inviting. The only issue was the bar was not that busy and we had to wave down the bar tender twice. She wasn't very attentive. Overall the bar atmosphere was great.

This used to be one of the best places to get a bloody mary, but they seem to have forgotten that talentFood is good and service depends on which waitress you get.

Well... not many places in the LBK bring rock bands. Sometimes they actually have some great shows too. But on a normal weekend it's a nice atmosphere. Big place. Hot waitresses. They serve food too but I've never had it. Definitely worth checking out. 5 star for Lubbock cuz of the shows.

We went there for a concert at Jake's Backroom. The staff in the bar section was very friendly and the prices were fair. The backroom isn't a huge area, but the acoustics were good enough to hear and understand the bands clearly. It's not a 5 star place but its definitely worth 4 stars.

The Margarita was not great and the loaded nachos were terrible and too expensive for stale refried beans and just a little bit of beef.

I come to Lubbock once a year for business. Make it a point to get to Jake's, solid service, very good bar food and very good daily specials. Beer and cocktail prices r awesome. Always have sports on, and a bonus, they have TNT trivia. Big bar, have bands and wrestling on the the weeknds.

Great live music! I love going on Friday nights and listening to the Darren Welch Group with my boyfriend and friends. Also, the waitresses are always attentive and the beer is cold!

We came in and sat down and was totally ignored by the staff! They served tables next to us and didnt even look our way for 15 minutes!!! This place is a sorry excuse of a sports bar! To make matters worse after 15 minutes of waiting and attempting to wave down a waitress a few people walked in and sat a few tables away and got service right away. We got up and walked out!

Good food. Drinks always cold and great. West texas sunset is my girlfriends favorite drink from here.

This place is better than nothing. I don't like that they allow smoking in there. Parking always seems to be an issue just like any other bar. Normally I would not have stepped into this place if it weren't for my friends and family wrestling in the backroom.
